Pink!
For some reason, I’m really into light pink this spring. I like other pastel colors too, they always seem trendy this time of year. I decided to break some of the black and white in our living room with a hint of really light pink. Pillows are always an easy way to bring color, without committing to it permanently (I always get tired of color in my home quickly). Here’s some pictures:
The solid colored is from H&M Home and the stripe pillow I made myself from this cool fabric I found.
What do you think? Do you also like pastel colors in the spring time?

Diy Texture Pillow
I had some gray linen fabric that I wanted to use to make a decorative pillow. Instead of just making a basic one color pillow, I wanted to create a strong texture.
I folded and sewed the fabric so that it looks like a diamond pattern. I think it looks interesting and very rich in texture. I’m making a tutorial on how to make this, once I have the time and energy. I’ve had a bad cold the last few days and recovering takes time… But hopefully I can post it in a few weeks.

Our New Sofa
Here I present to you, our new sofa:
As you can see, we chose a white three-seater Ektorp sofa. We tested many sofas and this was the most comfortable one. My husband convinced me to buy the three-seater instead of the planned two-seater, saying it’s much more comfortable for lounging. And he’s right, it is.
It felt, and still feels, a bit too big for our living room… I guess it’s because our leather armchairs feel so tiny next to it! But I hope I’ll get used to it.
I have no idea how quickly the white cover gets dirty and how much work it takes to keep it clean. So this is an experiment. If it feels too difficult and time consuming, we’ll buy a gray cover for the sofa, if not, I think we’ll keep the white one.
