Diy Chalkboard

This was my first time using chalkboard paint. I wanted to make a big chalkboard from a piece of MDF I had leftover from our upholstered headboard. I painted the MDF two times with a foam roller to make the the chalkboard as smooth as possible and then let it dry. Fast and easy!

Here’s how it looks in our living room:

I like the texture and look of the empty chalkboard so much that I haven’t written anything on it yet. Now it’s like a big piece of abstract art and looks so soothing. Maybe I’ll find a nice quote or something to fill it soon… :)
