I’ve wanted to make a headboard for our bed a long time, but didn’t find the time or the money to do it. I was also unsure what kind of headboard I wanted to make. Finally I was able to decide and me and my husband built this headboard together:

The headboard is covered in natural color linen and I used black upholstery nails along the edges. Under the fabric and the batting there are edges made of MDF (something for the nails to attach to) and foam in the center. We attached wooden legs to it so it stands on its own feet between the bed and the wall. This headboard cost around 100 euros to make and took two days to complete. I’m really happy about the way it turned out!
