We don’t own a fireplace (I wish we did!), but we have an outdoor fire pit near to our apartment and it’s nice to use it in the summer. We have to bring our own firewood to use it so I bought a bag of firewood and figured out a way of displaying and storing them inside. I used an old belt (same one I used for my leather belt clock) and wrapped it around the firewood.

Looks sort of cosy this way, and it’s also easy to take with when going outside!
