My summer holiday started officially today! After madly cleaning our apartment yesterday, I’m ready to put on my holiday mode. This means that blog posts might be irregular for the next three weeks. But no worries! I have a few projects that I would like to finish during my holiday (or at least start..) so there’s interesting things to come. Here’s one of them:

We got this from my husbands grandmother. It’s an old solid wood trunk with metal hardware. In the past someone has painted it first white, then red and finally black (and also painted the metal parts gold).. This means I will have to remove all of those paint layers, even if I’m going to paint it too. Interesting to see what’s under the paint.
