Stockholm Shopping: What I Found

On Sunday we left for a one day shopping cruise to Stockholm, Sweden. We were there early on Monday morning and left back the same evening. The weather was horrible, it was raining almost constantly so we tried to stay inside as much as possible. And that means shopping and strolling around pretty design shops. This is what I found:

1. Pretty graphic black and white cups. I just had to have these… my husband just laughed at me. :) Found at Lagerhaus.

2. Beautiful black and white photography cards. Found at Fotografiska. If you ever go to Stockholm, they have the BEST breakfast in their restaurant. But you have to buy the ticket to the photography exhipition to enter the restaurant. But it’s worth it, also for the beautiful photography and not just for food.

3. New metal basket for our bathroom. Found at Granit.

4. Two pairs of new jeans, both were -50%. I really needed new jeans, because when looking at my old jeans, I saw they were “only good for painting”-jeans… it was then I knew I needed new ones… :)

And that’s it. The trip was great and we had a good time although our feet were sore and our shoes were wet at the end of the day! Maybe next time we’ll enjoy some nicer weather… :)

What A Find | Nude Loafers

I just found these…

Nude loafers

… for six euros from the thrift store! They are real leather and look and feel like they’ve never been used. The brand is Nero Giardini and they are made in Italy. Just what I needed for spring! :)

Ps. I found some other great things too, but more on them later…

Diy Leather Bracelets From A Belt

Diy leather bracelet from a belt

I had this nude colored leather belt that I never used. It was meant to be tied around my waist, but because the leather is so stiff, it just didn’t look good… just sort of awkward… So, I used it as a material for two diy leather bracelets two get something out of my two euro impulsive purchase.

I cut two pieces measured so that I could get my hand through the bracelet.  Then I used a leather punch to make holes to it. Then I made some decorative stitches on the other and attached two chain pieces to the other. Then I stitched them from the back to form a round bracelet. And here’s how they look finished:

I think this is something even men would like to wear, if it was brown or black and from a wider leather belt. Am I right? So, a great gift idea too..

Diy Bangle From Wooden Beads

This is another piece of jewelry I made. I used white wooden beads, experimented a bit, and this is the result:

I don’t know how durable it is since I used cotton thread, but at least it looks nice! :) Time will tell..

Vignette styling… This color palette is so feminine and soft: white, gold and a hint of pink. How luxurious!
