Easy Diy Wall Art
I did this easy wall art a while ago:
“Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.”
I had a printed photo of a sea view in black and white. I traced a circle on the backside using a round cup and a pencil. Then I cut it with scissors. I found a quote to go with the theme of the photo and typed it with my typewriter. Then I cut the quote from the paper and clued it and the photo to a white background. Then I framed my art piece. It now lives happily in our bathroom!

How to: Diy Mood Boards
I made these easy mood boards a while ago and I think they turned out great! I used thick cardboard that I painted black and used velcro tape to attach them to the wall. That way I can easily take them off when I need to and they leave no holes to the walls. Here’s how I did it:
I cut two pieces of velcro and taped them to the top corners of the cardboard. Then I cut two matching pieces of velcro and attached them to the velcro pieces on the cardboard.
Then I just pushed them against the wall where I wanted them. This makes the other velcro pieces attach to the wall just were I needed them. No measuring needed.
Two metal clips hold some of the pictures and make the boards look more interesting. Then I filled my mood boards! This is how they look now:
I used the metal clips, washi tape and double sided tape to attach the pictures to the boards. This is very easy to make and it’s nice to have some inspiration to look at every day!

Ikea Nyttja Photo Frame Makeover
This makeover is very simple. I had Ikea Nyttja photo frames which cost 2,95 euros for the pack of two. My goal was to make the frames look better and more unique. I used the same fire starter sticks I used for this round wood stick mirror project. I cut them the right size and painted them black with basic acrylic paint. After they dried I used fine grit sandpaper to distress the edges just a bit and then glued them to the frame. This is the after:
I think it looks so much better! You could also glue the wood pieces first and then spray paint the frames one color. Using a narrow wood trim instead of these wooden sticks would also look so good!
