What A Find | Nude Loafers

I just found these…

Nude loafers

… for six euros from the thrift store! They are real leather and look and feel like they’ve never been used. The brand is Nero Giardini and they are made in Italy. Just what I needed for spring! :)

Ps. I found some other great things too, but more on them later…

Diy Bangle From Wooden Beads

This is another piece of jewelry I made. I used white wooden beads, experimented a bit, and this is the result:

I don’t know how durable it is since I used cotton thread, but at least it looks nice! :) Time will tell..

Diy Beaded Pendant

A while ago I had a sudden struck of inspiration to make something from beads that look like metallic tubes and an hour later I had made this:

This cage-like shape made of triangles looks pretty cool, I think! Simple but unique. It took a while to figure out the best way to make this, but in the end, it was pretty easy to make. My only problem is: I don’t know what to wear with it!

Recycled Leather Bag And Sunglasses Cover

A few years ago I bought a leather bag from a flea market for 4 euros. I used it until the lock system broke and I wasn’t able to use it anymore.

But, instead of throwing it away, I decided to reuse it. I made a smaller leather bag and a cover for my sunglasses using the leather from the old bag. I didn’t even have to buy anything for this project since I already had everything I needed. Sometimes free projects are the most satisfying ones… :) Here’s my new recycled bag and sunglasses cover:

Both have been very useful. It’s amazing how much stuff I can fit in that bag and it still looks small and stylish! And the sunglasses cover protects my sunglasses from getting (any more) scratches. I guess throwing sunglasses and keys  together at the bottom of my bag wasn’t such a good idea… But, now that problem is solved!
